Right next door to El Niño Beach Club, on the Scheveningen boulevard, you'll find Sea Life Scheveningen — just a few steps from our terrace. Behind its doors waits a fully indoor journey through the ocean: from the waves of the North Sea just outside our door to the colourful reefs of tropical seas on the other side of the world.

The highlight is the famous underwater tunnel, where sharks, rays and shoals of glittering fish glide silently overhead. Further on you'll come face to face with sea turtles, mesmerising jellyfish drifting through the water like lanterns, quirky seahorses and the little ones' eternal favourite: the clownfish. At the touch pools you can — with guidance — gently get to know crabs, starfish and other creatures of the tideline.

Sea Life is entirely undercover, making it the perfect outing for a rainy or windy day by the sea. For children it's a small adventure; for grown-ups a surprisingly calming immersion. Allow around one and a half to two hours to take it all in at your own pace.
